Japanese Hollow

Posted on 2018-03-312018-12-26

A local group of riders called “Our Mother the Mountain” or OMTM, puts on some really great unofficial, unsupported rides. People drive in from all over the PNW and beyond to ride these routes through amazing forests and backcountry.

Japanese Hollow is stuck just south of The Dalles, Oregon and is mostly farmland to cherries and other fruit.

AJ and I went out there to ride with the group, along with most of the staff from Ride with GPS. AJ crushed the whole route on his touring Bike Friday. So many comments from other riders.

We took our time riding as we had no chance in keeping up with the main pack, but we did our best and enjoyed the mild weather.
